About

The Salvation Army Food Assistance Program is specifically intended to assist individuals/families that struggle to have enough food. This typically means people who are on limited fixed incomes, unemployed or facing exceptional circumstances.

IT IS NOT INTENDED AS A SUPPLEMENT FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN PROVIDE THEIR BASIC PERSONAL NEEDS.
By making an appointment, you are agreeing that you are facing genuine financial difficulties at the present time. While we want to assist as many people as we can, due to limited resources, we reserve the right to decline and cancel any appointment as we deem necessary.

The Salvation Army Food Assistance Program has been a true blessing for many families, including my family. The Salvation Army Captains are God faring people that see and help meet the needs of the less fortunate people in the wider community in Grand Bahama. They are truly a God sent to the Grand Bahama community. Also, we truly appreciate you all for your kind heartness and love for the people in Grand Bahama.
